🧡 Quzii Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 4 April 2025

These terms apply to all story sponsorships made through Quzii and its parent company, CooCooSA. By sponsoring a Quzii story or series, you agree to the following terms of engagement, usage, and recognition.

1. 💛 Purpose of Sponsorship

Sponsorships fund the creation of emotionally symbolic storybooks within the Quzii series - therapeutic tools used by educators, parents, and therapists to support emotional literacy, identity, regulation, grief, and belonging.

This isn’t a product sale. It’s a contribution to something lasting - a story that holds emotional meaning and continues to give long after the first read.

2. 📘 What Your Sponsorship Includes

Depending on your selected tier, sponsorship includes:

- Illustration and visual production (6-20 illustrations depending on age tier)
- Print layout and emotional pacing, matched to pre-written story arcs
- For education/therapy: companion tools and setting-specific briefs (where applicable)
- Print-ready file prep and formatting
- Print runs for donor or gift delivery
- Name/logo in the sponsored book (or remain anonymous)
- Placement on our public Sponsor Wall
- Optional digital PDF for preview or archival use

All stories are part of one of three arcs:

🧠 Therapist Series
🏫 Educator Series
👪 Parent Bedtime Series

3. 🖋️ Acknowledgment Options

By default, sponsored books include this line on the inside page:

“This story was made possible by a gift from [Your Name or Logo].”

You may:

- Remain anonymous
- Include a short dedication line
- Feature your organization’s logo (upon approval)

4. 📦 Book Distribution

Printed books will be:

📬 Donated by Quzii to schools, therapists, or NGOs
📦 Shipped to you (if requested)
🎯 Sent to a partner of your choosing (by arrangement)

All sponsored copies (where applicable) are gifted and never resold. Every story is placed in alignment with Quzii’s emotional safety mission.

5. 🛍️ Rights & Ownership

CooCooSA retains full ownership of all:

- Story content
- Visual elements and illustrations
- Emotional structure and tiered alignment

Sponsorship does not confer copyright, editorial, resale, or licensing rights. You are contributing to the story’s creation - and your name becomes part of its legacy.

Books will be sold or redistributed in other bundles (e.g. schools, Amazon, educator kits etc.) to support future story creation. Your sponsor credit will always remain visible unless anonymity is requested.

6. 💵 Payment & Refunds

- Once a Sponsorship Agreement is signed, and creation is scheduled, your payment becomes non-refundable. At this stage, illustrators, editors, and production teams are contracted.
- Refunds are only available before signing, and only if no work has commenced.
- Sponsorship secures your development slot and initiates work.

7. 📆 Payment Schedule (for Multi-Book or Tier Sponsorships)

For multi-story or tiered sponsorships:

- Book Sponsorships: once-off upfront
- Series Sponsorships: split over 4 payments
- Legacy Sponsorships: split over 3-6 payments
- Payment plans are confirmed with each sponsor based on agreement

Invoices will reflect agreed timelines and tier alignment. You’ll be notified of progress milestones via email.

8. 🌪️ Force Majeure

In the event of an unforeseen delay (e.g. illness, disaster, global event, supply issue), Quzii may temporarily pause or extend the story creation timeline.
You will be informed immediately, and a revised delivery plan will be proposed in good faith.
Sponsors will not be held liable for delays outside their control. Likewise, CooCooSA is not liable for external disruptions once creative work has commenced.

9. 🔒 Use of Sponsor Identity

Your name or logo will only appear on:

- The sponsored book
- The Quzii Sponsor Wall
- The digital impact summary (unless anonymity is requested)

You may also request to co-sponsor a story with another donor or dedicate a book “in memory of...” - just note it in the form.

You will never be used for advertising, sales, or unrelated content without your permisson.

10. 💬 Contact & Communication

For changes, updates, or special placement requests:

- A confirmation email
- Your story’s estimated timeline
- Your final acknowledgment draft
- Your digital report upon story release

11. ⚖️ Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of the country where the sponsorship is initiated or fulfilled. All concerns will be handled through clear communication and mutual good faith.

By proceeding with your sponsorship, you agree to the above terms and help bring a story into being - one that will never ask a child to explain how they feel, only offer them a place to rest inside it.
